An installation-based performance in which a body occupies a room for eight hours a day, in a state of voluntary abandonment with eyes closed. The audience, one at a time, is invited to enter the room, a metaphor for the thresholds that guard sleep: walls, doors, windows, eyelids. The dramaturgy of sound and space creates tension between the inside and the outside, questioning the nature of reality and generating a suspended dimension of encounter with the spectator, at once guest and intruder. Between intimacy and exposure, the one-on-one performance Stanza explores sleep as a condition of shared vulnerability: an ambiguous space between abandonment and capture, against the backdrop of an era marked by logics of surveillance and consumption.
