Villa Quiete is a cinematographically inspired performance about narcosis and acedia. A park becomes a surreal stage for a body in suspension — between sleep and waking, resistance and surrender. Originally created for the 18th-century Villa Quiete in Valle Cascia (IT), the performance can be presented in a site-specific format in other contexts such as parks or villas, where it produces a disorienting shift, orchestrated by an immersive soundscape.
